Your Profile
Open the menu and press your name at the bottom to reach your profile. On the phone it is at the bottom of More. Each section saves on its own.
Photo and details
Upload a photo, then fill in your name and other details. The panel under your photo shows when your account was created and changed, your recent sign-in attempts, and the switch that turns tours on and off.
Phone and two-factor sign-in
Enter your phone number and confirm the code sent to it. A verified number can receive text messages and can be your second sign-in factor. To change a verified number, clear it and enter the new one, then confirm the new one.
Authenticator app › Set up authenticator adds an authenticator app as a second factor. Scan the code, enter the six digits the app shows, and keep the recovery codes somewhere safe. See Signing in.
When your organization requires a second factor, the profile says so at the top and the rest of the application opens once you have set one up.
Email verification
Until your email address is confirmed, this section sends a fresh confirmation link.
Notifications
For each kind of message, such as an assignment, a reply or an approval request, choose whether it reaches you by email, by text message or as a notification on this device. To receive notifications on a phone, install Aptli on it, then turn them on for that device from this section. The section says why when the phone refuses.
Tags following you
Tags you turn on here are added to every record you create until you turn them off. A new record's window names the tags it is about to receive, and you can remove them there.
Password
Change your password here. The meter shows how strong the new one is, and the second field checks that both match.
Active sessions
Every device signed in to your account. Sign one out there to end its session at once, for example when a phone is lost. Log out in the menu signs out this device.
Sign-in providers
Linked OAuth Providers lists the single sign-on providers linked to your account and unlinks them. Associate OAuth Providers links another one.
Calendar
Where your organization plans work in Aptli, Sync to your calendar creates a private link to your assigned work. Add it to your calendar app to see the work there. Replace the link if it is ever shared by mistake.
Troubleshooting
- Refresh app data clears this device's cached data. Pages then load fresh from the server. Your sign-in and preferences stay.
- Refresh permissions picks up a change an administrator made to your access, without signing out.
- Reset app (full) clears everything this device keeps for Aptli, including drafts not yet uploaded, and signs you out. It warns you first when changes are still waiting to upload.
Deactivating your account
The last section, behind its own button, deactivates your account. Type your email address to confirm. An organization's last administrator cannot deactivate their own account.
