Aptli

On the Phone

Open Aptli in the phone's browser and sign in. A phone gets the phone layout on its own, and a link to a record opens the phone's page for it.

Installing it

More › Add to home screen installs Aptli like an app, where the phone offers it. On an iPhone, More › Save App for Offline Use also keeps the app itself on the phone so it opens without a signal.

The bottom bar and More

The bar at the bottom holds the pages you picked. Four fit across. Swipe the bar sideways when you keep more. More, pinned at the right, lists every page you can open as a tile. Tap a tile to put that page on the bar, and tap it again to take it off. Until you pick your own, the bar starts with the pages your rights use most.

Below the tiles, More holds Settings and help: the user guide, Start tour, the tours switch, Submit issue and this device's options. Your profile, the changes still waiting on this phone, your language and Log out sit at the bottom.

The header

  • The bell holds your notifications.
  • The page title and ⓘ explain the page.
  • A page with one main job carries a button for it at the right, such as starting a report from the map.
  • The assistant appears when your organization has turned it on.
  • A cloud shows while the server cannot be reached.

Phone lists

Work, requests and the other phone lists share one layout.

  • Mine · Nearby · All is the first button on most lists: what is yours, what is near you, or everything you can see.
  • The filter button opens every filter and a search. Its badge counts the filters that are on.
  • Tap a card to open the record.
  • Swipe a card: a short swipe right shows the list's main action, such as starting a report on a work order, and a short swipe left shows Delete where you have the right. A full swipe right shows the record on the map, and a full swipe left hides it from the list until you show hidden cards again.
  • Press and hold a card to select it. Tap others to add them, then Update all to change them together.

Scan opens the camera to read a QR code printed on a site, an asset or a work order, and opens that record.

Working without a signal

Keep working when the signal drops. Your changes stay on the phone, the count beside the upload button says how many are waiting, and they upload once the connection is back. The cloud in the header shows while the phone is offline.
